Dez, Benny, Tee, and Nick have taken distincly different paths since their childhood upbringing in a midtown Kansas City, Missouri neightborhood, but their friendship has endured. After being fully united for the first time in years following Benny's prison release, they collectively face many questions. Can Benny resist the constant lure of the streets as he strives to live a Christian existence? Will Dez succeed in her ambitious effort to transform Nick into a new, improved, and gainfully employed man?
